Excellent shorts, but will they last round after round?

These shorts are extremely nice, well-crafted, stylish, very light-weight. Perfect for hot humid summer days playing anywhere on the seaboard, from New York City to Naples Florida. I sized down to a 30-inch waist from my more normal 31-inch/32-inch size (as I am 5'8" and 148 pounds) - since I am not such a fan of the big baggy look-fit. I play golf competitively (amateur status), so, my ultimate test is to see how these shorts hold up when I am carrying my own bag, trying to score, round after round. I am not lying, but I thought the shorts were too nice to subject them to a couple of harsh rounds during the early-September heat-humidity snap in metro NYC. I prayed that they would hold up to the sweat, the walking, the carrying and the swinging. I paired it with a new Nike Tailored Performance golf shirt and my old Jordan #6 golf shoes. The shoes can take a beating (I knew that), but the shirt and the shorts seemed just too sweet for challenging rounds. Guess what?? NO problems, in either the shirt or the shorts ! Again, I am carring my own bag, dialed into the round. Not rolling down the fairway in a cart with a beer in my hand! If these shorts and shirts can continue to hold up for a couple of years of this type of grinding, walking and carrying round after round, then they are easily worth the money ! The look and fit of the shirt and the short are fantastic. They vent heat and sweat effortlessly. I would say they augment your natural swing mechanics and do not impede in any way. The Nike "Tailored Performance" short and shirt line is "dialed" for competition, I would say! But, if your goal is simply that you just want to look better than anyone else on the putting green, then this golf line achieves that goal, as well. I feared that these light-weight, stylish, venting shorts (and shirt) might not hold up to demanding playing conditons. But, the Nike engineers seem to be saying, we built this line for "Performance," so, just do it! Amazing, I hope I can get two years out of them ! I fully recommend giving the shorts (and shirt) a try!
