Nike Swim Hydroguard Essential

I was very happy with this swim and sun protection shirt. I typically wear size M in shirts and thought it fit true to size, depending on how you like your shirts to fit. If you want a tighter fit, order true to size, if you want a little looser order up a size. The fabric is a great dri-fit material that is very light, breathable, and dries very quickly. I spent 3 days on the beach with it and had a mix of volleyball, swimming, and laying in the sun with it. It was great to put on when I felt like I may be getting sun burnt and give my skin a break. I would definitely recommend this shirt to anyone who spends a lot of time outside in hot weather and doesn’t like to have their skin exposed for long periods.

I am not a big fan of this top. It runs small and got even tighter when wet. I recommend going 1-2 sizes larger than you usually wear. The fabric is one positive; it was soft and I enjoyed how it felt on my body when dry. However, when it was wet it became uncomfortable.

I own other hydroguards and they do the job but this is the only one I own that is stylish. It is very comfortable and soft and doesn’t feel overly tight. It fits snug which I like. Not only am I protecting myself from the sun but I look good doing it. The material is breathable and feels like good quality. I look forward to getting it in different colors.
