These rashguard shirts are perfect for surf boarding, along with the matching board shorts I purchased. They do their job, and protect you from harmful sun rays. I appreciate that they’re not made out of horrid nylon (plastic!). As you may or may not know, nylon is painful to wear in extreme heat, as in regions closer to the equator. Imagine wearing nylon marina rope and have it burning against your skin, not fun. These surfboard shirts are made of polyester (smooth, silky threads), and I purchased two more shirts after receiving the first one. The shirts lay smooth, and are flattering to wear. Normally, rashguards are supposed to be as tight as another layer of skin in the water. I upsized one so I can wear on a daily basis. I don’t usually like wearing rashguards out of the water, but these are that awesome. Dual purpose bonus.
