Nike Free Metcon 7

Pros: Comfortable, light weight, true to size. Con: The color online and the color I received are pretty different. I got the blueish green shoe, and in person its definitely grey and not as advertised.

My initial thought was that these shoes felt really tight on the width of my foot. I use them for ball hockey and lifting weights a few times per week. I understand that ball hockey can be rough on shoes (lots of changing direction), but I was under the impression that these shoes were made to handle that kind of use. They also didn’t perform great right out of the box. They were far less supportive than my old Metcons that I used for years playing ball hockey in. I was mostly disappointed with how the outsole began peeling less than a month after I purchased these though. If you train doing plyometrics or do any agility training these shoes are not made to handle these types of movements and I would steer clear.

The sizing on these are horrendous. I highly do not recommend. Every set of metcon frees I was the same size. The 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s and 6’s. However I’m inbetween sizes for these. Same size I always wear is way too tight and half size up is much too big. Nike’s gotta fix this.
