Nike S.T. Charge "Detroit Tough"

A really good-looking basketball shoe, with some trade-offs. The good: - the shoe looks great - the shoe seems like a good daily, on and off the court - the insole is totally new to me, and I'm curious to see how it breaks in and performs - the insole will likely compress downwards, giving you a bit more vertical space in the shoe - the outsole will keep your foot locked in, preventing and lateral foot movements / sliding around when do crossovers, cuts or step backs The bad: - the shoe is very heavy, like a boot - USA gets the worst colorways, with the exception of the recent ACG Air Mowabb colorway - the shoe is very snug in the toe box - the shoe is not friendly for players with wider feet - the outsole will not break in, so don't expect it to break in and widen laterally

Fun shoe to play in with nice traction and durable materials. Drop-in sole cushioning is nice once broken in. However, it just wasn't for me. I went true-to-size and the fit was too small. Toebox was narrow and damaging my toes, but despite that, I was somehow getting heel-slippage. It seems the consensus is to go 1/2 size up (though it may lead to more heel slippage). Nice looking show though, especially if you're a fan of Cade.
