  • A Great Shoe In The Making

    E. Coles

I have been wearing the Nike Shox Ride 2 for a little over 2 weeks now, and must say that I have had a positive experience with this shoe. Let me start with my reaction of holding these shoes fresh out of the signature Red Nike box. The all Black color-way made this shoe easy to love; the uniform color made me pay attention to the design of the shoe first and foremost. I could definitely tell that the Nike Shox Ride 2 look was a derivative of the classic design of the Airmax models of the 2000’s. I am a big fan of the red sideways “N” Logo, which looks to symbolize the shoe technology. They look great, and have a durable athletic look, but with a stylish finish. Next, I would like to talk about the actual feel, fit,, performance, and comfort-ability of the Nike Shox Ride 2. I must say that they feel great in hand, and feels like a near premium shoe. The fit on the other hand did not feel so great, and is my only complaint of the shoe. The shoe fits a little too tight, and although the cushion at front of the shoe does help alleviate the pain of tightness on the big toe, it still makes the shoe less comfortable than what it could or should be. I would recommend for customers to go half a size up to compensate for this issue. Even still, I had a good experience wearing the Shox Ride 2’s outside, and they were great for standing, walking and jogging. I stood in these shoes for 8 hours straight and had no pain in the middle or back of my feet. These shoes definitely help distribute the weight that you put on your feet. In Conclusion, these are and will be a great pickup for anyone who is looking for walking or running shoes, once and if they get the right size for comfort. They look and feel good, while also having great performance. The Nike Shox Ride 2 is definitely a shoe that I will keep my eye on in the future, especially regarding other Uniform color-ways.

  • Cool kicks

I love the design of my Nike Shox, however if your feet run on the wider side you may want to size up. The shoe itself is stylish, allowing you to dress it up or down. The material is nice and overall the shoes are a good choice. My only complaint is the width.

  • Air Max meets Shox

    Danny

Growing up as a pre-teen in the late 90s and early 2000s, I remember watching those Nike Shox "boing" commercials on TV and always wanted to try on a pair. As a New Yorker and a Yankees fan, seeing Alex Rodriguez wear Shox on the field made me want to get a pair even more. Getting to finally try on a pair of Nike Shox sneakers feels long overdue. My love of the Air Max line made wearing a combination of these two Nike technologies fun and enjoyable. The materials felt durable and comfortable, requiring no time to break them in. Not much that I'll change about the shoe, aside from the fact that the toe box feels slightly short and, naturally, the tall heel of the shoe can push your foot forward.
