Nike Fly

This is one of the most innovative running caps I’ve used. The built-in ice pockets actually make a noticeable difference on hot runs, especially when paired with the included silicone molds. As the ice melts, the cooling effect extends down the neck through the perforated cape without feeling messy or heavy. The AeroAdapt vents and Dri-FIT ADV fabric keep airflow high, while the low-profile Fly fit stays secure and comfortable even at faster paces. Small details like the color-changing Swoosh and reflective accents are a nice touch, and the reusable mesh bag makes storing the ice molds easy. If you regularly run in hot climates or during summer, this cap is genuinely functional rather than gimmicky. The only trade-off is that you need to freeze and pack the ice beforehand, but the cooling payoff is well worth the extra step.

The Nike Cooling Hat changes the game for these hot summer runs, some days you just need something extra to beat the heat and this is the secret ingredient! Very easy to size to fit just right and a simple system for adding ice to the hat. It looks and feels high tech, even without the ice it would be a high end running hat. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me is the back flap doesn’t provide quite enough sun protection compared to more specific sun blocking hats, making it less ideal during peak UV compared to those. I do love this hat though and will definitely be taking advantage of its cooling features all summer!

The most unique hat I’ve ever seen. It’s very light, and does a great job keeping you cool in the heat. Make sure to fill the special ice trays the night before you plan to wear it, and remove them from the trays to insert them into the hat. With the ice in, it is a bit bulky, but there is some stretch. Without the ice, it’s great as well. Great for any outdoor activity, especially golf. The brim has taken some time to shape, but that is my only complaint. The rear is nice if you have long hair, it goes through easily and holds well with the bungee closure.
