Returned to running after a 40 year break. Six months in I decided to run a marathon on five days notice. I got these because they are supposed to reduce fatigue and make recovery faster. I ran sub-4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. Nineteen days later I ran a half in these and set a post-high school PB in the mile, 2 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 15K, 10 mile and half. In these shoes, I run like a different person.

Whenever someone trains with Eliud Kipchoge, they're asked to plant a tree at his base camp to signify their growth. The sockliner graphics mimic that growth with branches moving forwards towards the front of the shoe. The Red Clay colour fade nods to the Kenyan dirt that stains the shoes when training. The font is a play on African trees that have fractal-like patterns on the surfaces.

fantastic shoes, I have now experienced the first kilometers in these shoes and must say that they are very comfortable. had to get used to the sound they made at first, but after a few hundred meters it became less and I could get used to it. I had to order them half a size larger because they were smaller for me.
Marathon ? Aber bitte bequem!

Wow. Ich hätte nicht gedacht das ein Alphafly so viel Komfort bietet. Die durchgehende Mittelsohle ist tatsächlich ein großer Fortschritt in Sachen Abrollen. Sehr federnd und treibendes Laufgefühl, wie man das von den A`Flys gewohnt ist nur eben eine Nummer bequemer als bisher. Nicht eine Blase oder Druckstelle nach den 42 K und das obwohl der Schuh oben rum aus einem Hauch nichts besteht. Klasse, keine Revolution aber definitiv eine tolle Evolution zum Vorgänger.
