Wide-Foot Friendly and Actually Waterproof

Fit is excellent, especially if you have a wide foot and a high instep. They run true to size, which matters a lot with hiking shoes. Very comfortable out of the box. Lots of padding, and the foam is springy, responsive, and lightweight. No pinch points across the midfoot at all. The fabric wrap around the ankle collar is a nice touch and stood out to me. Clean, functional detail that adds comfort without looking bulky. Material quality Held up well in real conditions. I wore them urban hiking in the rain, stepped in plenty of puddles, and my feet stayed dry the whole time. That says a lot about the build and the waterproofing. What I liked most: the combination of true-to-size fit and that springy, comfortable foam. It makes them easy to wear for long stretches. What I'd change: nothing major stood out as a problem. Overall, solid shoe. I'd recommend them for hiking or walking without hesitation.

I packed the Nike ACG Zegama Hike for last weekend's camping trip in the woods. The fit is true to size and I appreciate that it's wide width. Nike shoes tend to be too narrow for me, but these hiking shoes fit like a dream. Thanks to the ultra-cushioned midsole, these shoes were extremely comfortable. It truly felt like I was walking on clouds. Although, these are not GORE-TEX, the Zegama Hike kept my feet nice and dry for hours during a storm. I'm looking forward to putting some more miles on them.
