Training through the winter means colder temperatures, shorter days, and lower visibility. Having running gear that’s warm, flexible, and designed for movement is essential and reflective details add an important layer of safety. This Nike running vest checks all of those boxes. I don’t typically reach for vests, but this puffer vest surprised me. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and easy to move in while running. It retains body heat without causing overheating, which is a big win during colder runs. The vest design keeps my core warm while allowing my arms full freedom of movement. Overall, it’s a great addition to my winter running gear. My only curiosity is how the reflective elements will hold up over time, as reflective materials can degrade with wear but so far, it’s been a solid and reliable piece for winter training!!
