Nike Zoom Streak 3
Built to win. In 2009 Nike launched the next up in race day footwear, the Zoom Streak 3. The sneaker pushed running footwear into new spaces with its lightweight one-piece mesh upper paired with Nike’s proven cushlon midsole and a Zoom Air heel. The Zoom Streak 3 quickly became a favorite amongst Nike athletes at the time thanks to its minimal weight and breathability. From 2009 to 2013 the Zoom Streak 3 crossed more finish line tape than any Nike Racing sneaker prior. It went on to create a foundation for the Vaporfly many years later.

The Nike Zoom streak 3 pictured above was one of the primary colorways worn by athletes around the world. This particular pair is from 2011 and was spotted on the feet of athletes winning races in Chicago, London, and Berlin.

The Zoom Streak 3 above in Red, Black, and White is from 2010 and was also one of the pairs most worn by Nike athletes during the height of the Zoom Streak 3. This colorway saw strong podium finishes at races in cities such as New York, London, Boston, Chicago, and more.

In 2022, Joan Benoit Samuelson donated a large collection of footwear and apparel to Nike DNA. One of the pieces that was donated was a promo pair of the Zoom Streak 3 from 2010 in the Pink/White colorway pictured above.
