Originally designed for runners in 1995, the Air Rift quickly proved to be another Nike silhouette that transcended sport. With its distinctive split-toe design, it didn’t take long for the shoe to catch on with tastemakers and style communities.

Now, the Air Rift is making a return, with several colorways currently available and more on the way.

To celebrate, we teamed up with LA-based vintage showroom Mom N Dad for a styled editorial that reimagines the Air Rift’s athletic roots with everyday wear.

Drawing from their deep archive of vintage Nike apparel and accessories, Lex Muro and Nick Flanagan merged past and present, blending their vision with the shoe’s distinctive, boundary-pushing design.

The Air Rift is featured here in several current and upcoming colorways, including a white-based iteration and a gradient execution—both built with a leather-dominated construction.
