AIR MOVES CHI

Air embodies Nike’s endless desire to dream.
Decades ago, we harnessed this shape-shifting element to forever change Nike, and to take those who put it beneath their feet to places they never thought possible.
In celebration of the next generation of Nike Air, we’ve partnered with a select group of artists to turn their imagination to reality using the Air Max 270 as their inspiration.
Inspired by Air, it’s their creativity, passion and community that moves us and together we move Chicago.

AIR MOVES STUK ONE

SPRAYPAINT & GRAFFITI
Originally from Rockford, IL, Chicago based painter, Stuk One has been a force in the graffiti scene for over 15 years all across the US. He specializes in small to large scale murals, inked drawings, illustrations and typography. Stuk is especially interested in pushing the limits of perception as far as his aesthetic in the graffiti world, so he was naturally inspired by the Air Max 270's exaggerated Air. He’s known for taking risks with bright color schemes and unique compositions combined with extremely clean lines and design elements.

Alex + Aleia focus on still life studio photography, but also work in video and sculpture. Their still life images are composed of everyday found objects and situations; both familiar and surreal. Since beginning their collaboration, Alex and Aleia have shown work in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Taipei, London and Chicago.

AIR MOVES DIANA PIETRZYK

MULTIMEDIA
Diana is a Chicago-based artist with a penchant for illustration, photography, and all things neon. She draws inspiration from both the twinkling, glowing universe above and from her earthly influences—namely, being raised in a Mexican family. She enjoys frequenting Pilsen, a thriving Latino neighborhood in her city, and often reflects the culture’s traditions in her own art through vibrant colors and festive skeletons. She has a multitude of skills, including painting, GIF-making, and, in general, creating. In the future, she hopes to become a full-time artist, expressing herself through any medium that comes her way.
