When the first four-year liberal arts college for Black American students merged with the first southern university to award graduate degrees to Black Americans, the Clark College band became the Mighty Marching Panthers. Known as the little red band with the big sound, the MMP has delivered high-octane performances from field to stage to silver screen. Nike celebrates the legacy of HBCUs and their longstanding impact on the marching band world with this collection of Air Max 97s. Taking inspiration from band uniforms, it's layered in school colors with school branding at the heel and tongue.
