These were a new style of shoe for me as I usually wear flats or if I’m wearing tennis or athletic shoes they tend to be jordan’s or basic athletic shoes or slippers so these were a bit different for me, but I’m surprisingly shocked at how much I love these all around. The thing I love about these shoes is the look and style of them. They very much give retro and the leather look on the outside is very clean. They go well with all my casual looks and are pretty comfortable. I wouldn’t say they’re the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn, but they get the job done. They are kind of tight in the upper mid section of the shoes, however after a few wears they’ve come to fit more naturally on my foot. Other than that one issues I LOVE these shoes and have no other complaints. They’re cute, most comfortable, the quality is noticeable and the feel of them after being worn in very nice.

These shoes remind me a lot of the Nike Cortez. The fit is a little wider but the solid leather material definitely makes it a sturdy shoe. It has the old school waffle pattern for the shoe bottom so if you’re looking for a retro shoe, this is it. The color is like a Kelly green if you’re into bold colors. It’s definitely a unique shoe. I like how the inside is blue (although you wouldn’t see it once you’re wearing it. Since this is definitely a lifestyle shoe, I’m not sure how comfortable it would be wearing for a long period of time, but I can see how the color could complete a cute outfit. Also a major plus for me is the shoe laces are long enough to tie and loop behind the tongue. I feel like a lot of the newer shoes have shorter laces, but these seem like the right length. The shoes are a classic shoe. The color is a bit too bold for me for everyday use but if you’re into having shoes not matching your outfit all the time, it definitely has a unique look!

I’ve been collecting Nike and Jordan sneakers for years and have over 100 pairs in my collection. This is my first pair of the LD-1000s, and honestly, I think I just found my new everyday sneakers. And since I love the color green, this pair is perfect for me. Fit & Feel: I usually wear between an 8.5 and 9 in men’s, and these fit like a glove. The fit is snug and comfortable, great for all-day wear. That said, they do run narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend them for someone with wider feet. Design: The design is what really caught my eye. The green colorway is bold and makes you stand out, while the gum sole adds a classic touch. It’s a clean yet standout look that works well for both casual wear and training. Fabric: The leather material gives the shoe a premium appearance, but the quality could be better. After only a few wears, I noticed creasing, which makes me question how well the material will hold up over time. What I liked most / What I’d change: My favorite thing about this shoe is hands down the colorway—it’s unique and eye-catching. If I could change one thing, it would be the material. A cloth or mesh upper would probably crease less and hold its shape better with everyday use. Overall, it’s a solid sneaker that I’d definitely buy again in another colorway.
