Ha csak néhány percig gyakorlod a tudatos jelenlétet ily módon, azonnali nyugtató hatást érezhetsz, és visszatérsz a jelen pillanatba. 3. __Ismételj egy erőmantrát.__
 Egy személyes szándék hangos kimondása azonnal feltölt energiával, és lehetővé teszi, hogy kapcsolódj a pillanathoz. Én ilyenkor azt szoktam mondani magamban, hogy „minden erőmmel minden erőmben”. Amikor kezdek kimerülni – az edzésben, a jógában, a vállalkozásomban vagy akár a szeretteimmel való kapcsolataimban –, és már feladnám, ezzel emlékeztetem magam arra, hogy még vannak tartalékaim, hogy még többre vagyok képes, és a kimerültség túloldalán varázslat vár. Fordítsd le ezt a gyakorlatot a saját nyelvedre, és gondolj egy olyan mantrára, amely mély jelentéssel bír a számodra: valami pozitív és energizáló, ami együttérzésben és szeretetben gyökerezik. Amikor ismét szükséged van rá, hogy kapcsolódj magadhoz, ismételd el magadban, vagy akár hangosan. Ne feledd, bár nem irányíthatsz mindent, ami veled történik, kontrollálhatod a saját válaszaidat. Ezek a technikák egyszerűnek tűnhetnek, de az egyszerűségben erő van.
