      • Weird pocket but nice shorts

        Nice materials, sizing was accurate for me. The MASSIVE pocket is a bit weird, but you can use it half zipped and then it's almost like a normal pocket. The green colour is nice too.

        Really nice shorts. Fit is perfect. Could use a regular pocket alongside the zipper pocket on right side but not necessary. Overall great shorts.

        When I pulled these shorts from the packaging, I was highly impressed with the quality of the material and the stitching, and I thought I was going to love them. The fit is nice, though a bit shorter in length than I'd prefer, and they look good on. The material has some weight to it but the shorts don't feel too heavy or warm in the Southern California summer heat. Perfect for going to the gym, lounging around the house, or going out for a quick errand. The thing that bothers me about these shorts is the right side pocket. The left side pocket is a standard pocket with a slight angle that makes it very comfortable to use. The right side pocket on the other hand is an overdesigned mess. The zipper part is nice for when you need to secure something but everything else is just awkward. The pocket is totally vertical along the seam making it strange to get your hand in. Then there are 2 smaller pockets with a weird water-wicking type fabric inside the main pocket. The top one is so small that I can't put my hand in it. Seems like more of a place to lose small objects like a key. The larger of the 2 small pockets is just slightly less awkward. Perhaps they were designed for someone to put a key in the tiny pocket, their wallet smashed in the slightly larger pocket, and their phone in the main pocket compartment, so the objects don't touch. It then puts all the weight of what you're carrying onto one side which is just uncomfortable unless you tuck left and need some better weight distribution. For anyone looking at these as just lounge shorts or those who don't use their pockets, I recommend them. The quality is great and they look nice on. If you actually use the pockets in your shorts or pants, even just to rest your hands in, I suggest looking elsewhere.
