Men's shorts for running: flexible designs for training and everyday movement

Built to move from the first stride

Our men's running shorts are made for steady miles, speed sessions and everything in between. Lightweight fabrics help you move freely, while streamlined cuts reduce distractions as the pace changes. Choose brief-lined styles for built-in support, 2-in-1 designs that give a locked-in feel, or unlined options when you want to layer your way. From short, race-ready lengths to longer fits with extra coverage, there’s a pair to match how you run, train and recover.

Dry comfort when the effort rises

When your run heats up, performance technology helps you stay focused. Nike Dri-FIT moves sweat away from your skin for faster evaporation, so you can feel dry and comfortable through tempo runs, jogs and gym work. Nike Dri-FIT ADV combines moisture-wicking fabric with advanced engineering for high-intensity efforts. Selected styles also use Nike Aero-FIT technology to increase airflow in key zones, helping heat escape when you push the pace.

Choose the feel that works for your run

The right men's shorts for running depend on how you like to move. Brief-lined running shorts offer breathable support with a classic look. 2-in-1 running shorts add an inner layer for coverage and a close fit. Half-length tights and compression-style layers bring a supportive feel for tackling trail routes or gym sessions. Side vents and split hems help your stride open up for unrestricted movement. Meanwhile, zipped or drop-in pockets keep small essentials close. Some pairs even have hidden pockets for discreet storage.

Ready for road, trail and training

Our men's running shorts are made for more than one kind of session. Wear them on the track for sprint work, out on the road for everyday miles or in the park for relaxed runs. Trail-ready designs and running tights add coverage for uneven ground, changing weather and cooler conditions. For training days, flexible fabrics move with lunges, stretches and bodyweight drills. After your workout, clean silhouettes and easy comfort make these shorts ready for travel, warm-ups and everyday wear.

Pairs made to perform

Get men's run shorts in materials designed for modern movement. Jacquard knits combine a soft texture with airy breathability. You'll also find options with 4-way stretch fabric, so you can stride and lunge without any limitations. Pick bold hues for standout energy or keep it simple with versatile block colours and classic shades. Elastic waistbands deliver all-day comfort from the first kilometre until the last. Think stretchy fits that sit flat against your skin. Plus, pairs with handy drawcords let you easily fine-tune your fit. However you run, choose shorts that help you feel cool, supported and ready for the next step.
