Nike Tech Helios

I've never worn pants like this before so I wasn't sure what to think when they arrived, however I was pleasantly surprised I'm a man that unfortunately has experienced a melanoma scariately and for the first time in my life I am thinking about sun protection. when it came across these pants I was intrigued by the idea of clothes having SPF ratings. after looking into them more, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did! I live on the East Coast the United States and right now it's summer and quite sweaty. I definitely wouldn't wear these in a hot weather but even with one human weather, I was surprisingly cool and comfortable. pants that are 100% polyester I would expect to feel like I was wearing a plastic garbage bag but that's not the case. It's a magical way, I don't know the science behind the Dri-FIT technology, it pulls the sweat away from my skin and helps it evaporate. I am a runner and I have very light skin so not always just helping me keep comfortable doing my workouts but it's making me feel really good about keeping my skin protected (I have paired these pants with long sleeve Sun protection shirts, sunscreen on my face and a sun hat). after the cancer scare, I feel much more confident and reassured while outside under the blazing hot sun. It makes me feel good that I know I'm doing something to protect myself and my health. The price tag is higher than I expected but honestly I think it's worth it if protection from the sun is really important for you besides the sun protection, I just really like the design of the pants. I I'm quite short and skinny compared to the average man on despite my size, it fits very well and true to size. am usually not one for baggy pants but the way they fit they don't completely swamp you and make you look huge. They are fitted and baggy at the same time if that makes sense. My favorite feature is the drawstring at the bottom of the pant legs. If I want some more air, or if I'm doing something like riding a bike or playing with my kids I can customize the pants and make them whatever length I want. So if I don't want to worry about pants getting caught in my bike chain, I can turn them into to capris In a second. I've never had pants customizable like this before and I am really enjoying it. The bungees also make it so that they can perfectly fit around whatever shoes you were wearing depending on what look you are going for if you want a more relaxed fit or if you want more of a tighter pant leg I really like the way you can customize these. I think it would be cool if they made an old school design that had the zipper where you can turn them into shorts or 3/4 pants. that way you were investing in her pants and shorts that can be adaptable and worn more ways so you get more out of your money overall I am really surprised at how much I like these although it's usually not the type of clothes I go for, I don't have a lot of experience with athletic wear especially ones with special technology to keep you dry and comfortable. I have ordered a few different articles of clothing from the same helios line. being a runner I need to feel cool and comfortable and have complete freedom of movement which this accomplishes wonderfully. not to mention I really like the name of the product line, Helios is a sun god and I think it's cool they researched and chose a name that suits what the product is aimed for instead of choosing a random name that they thought sounded good All in all I think they are great athletic pants and are well worth the money *normally I'm always one to always share photos of products I review, however I am self-conscious about my body and don't feel comfortable or confident enough to be okay wirh sharing pictures of myself when I review clothes*

6'6" size M. Beautiful, versatile and comfortable. Perfect length for me.

I will start by saying I am a 6’ 225 lb male with a broad build. Typically with any item of clothing, joggers, shorts, shorts etc… a size L or XL will work just fine. I went with an XL on these pants for a slightly looser fit. These things are MASSIVE. Honestly I feel like even if I would have gone with a Medium they still possibly would be too big. I’m bummed because these pants seem like a really cool product. Air vents on the knees… lightweight spf material. I planned on wearing these quite a bit this summer. But with a fit like this… what activity are these made for?! I believe this is Nike fitting in with the wide leg trend, and for a 39 year old father of two, I simply can’t walk around anywhere in public dressed in these things. Buyer beware… size down a size… or two… or three :)
