After wearing this shoe for 6 months the sole still has not softened up and it is not warm, I live in Dallas, TX and wear ski socks but still my feet froze.

The Vomero 18 offers a more cushioned feel than the Vomero 17. It features a dual-density midsole that pairs ZoomX foam with ReactX foam to create a softer, more energised underfoot feel. An updated traction pattern helps make heel-to-toe transitions feel even smoother than the Vomero 17. The result is a more cushioned ride built to keep runners comfortable as they log daily miles.
Cushioning in the heel and a 10mm heel-to-toe drop help create a soft, comfortable landing for runners who strike farther back on the foot.
