  • Very durable

    LW - 02 Mar 2025

These Kids’ Carpenter Shorts with a loose fit are a great choice for active kids who need both comfort and durability. The heavyweight canvas fabric feels sturdy yet flexible, making them perfect for playtime, school, or just hanging out. The loose fit allows for easy movement, and the elastic waistband in the back ensures a snug but comfortable fit. Plus, the extra pockets are a nice touch for carrying little things. They’re still a little big to fit my son, but I can’t wait until they fit!

  • Big Kids Cargo Shorts for Shorties

    Sneaker Pops - 24 Feb 2025

Really like the material for these carpenter shorts. It’s durable and tough. The waist on these is stretchy and bigger in the leg opening so they’d be great for a child going through a growth spurt too. They are a little big on my daughter because she’s so tiny but she still loved wearing them. I can definitely see these being a better option for kids into more extreme sports like skateboarding to help prevent road rash and scrapes. This design is a very 90s mtv kid vibe.

  • Trendy shorts but tricky fit

    Trendy boy mom - 27 Feb 2025

We recently picked up a pair of kids’ denim shorts, and I have to say, the material really stands out. It’s thick and sturdy these shorts feel like they’re built to last a long time, which is great for active kids. To keep them looking fresh, I’d recommend air drying instead of tossing them in the dryer. The design is pretty trendy right now longer and a bit baggy, which seems to be what a lot of kids are wearing. My son, though, wasn’t a fan. He found them uncomfortable and wanted to switch to something else pretty quickly. That said, I think part of the issue might’ve been the size I chose. He’s 4 and usually wears an XS, but the XS in these shorts felt more like a small. They were just too big on him, so I can’t really judge the fit properly. If you’re thinking about grabbing a pair, I’d suggest sizing down especially if your kid is on the smaller side. Overall, the quality is solid, but the sizing and style didn’t quite work for us. Maybe a smaller size would’ve made a difference!
