Poor Design, Bad Fit

I ordered a half size down as suggested and while me toes came right to the tip of the shoe, they just didn't fit right. My foot felt like it would slip right out, I am sure trying to walk up even a slight incline would be cause the shoe to slip right off. My slides seem more snug on my feet that these shoes did. The back of the heel is oddly scalloped and I felt like I had to constantly lean forward or I might fall backwards! These are issues I've never had with any other mule or clog shoe. Unfortunately just poor design.
