Nike Ava Rover

With kids feet growing so quickly, it's hard to reason paying for style over sensibility. The Ava Rover has you covered. These sneakers are perfect. As a parent, the outer material washes up easily. The quality of the shoes is like no other. As a kid, my son was thrilled to see them when we opened the box. The color is bright, yet muted so not too out there. The sole is thick and extra cushy inside. He loved the design in the soles being geometric style. When he wears these shoes, he has an extra pep to his step. You can just tell he feels cool and instyle. He honestly feels like a trend setter wearing the Ava Rover. They fit true to size. I wish they came in more color options. My son struggles to tie his shoes, so an elastic slip on without ties would be a nice option for some.

These shoes won my 12yo over from the moment he laid eyes on them, and when he tried them on, he was even more impressed. He says they are the most plush and comfortable shoes he has ever worn, and he especially likes the way they almost feel springy when he walks. The bright golden color is eye-catching and fun, making these shoes a great addition to any stylish kid’s closet. I am impressed with how well-made these shoes are, with sturdy soles and strong laces. My son is hard on footwear, but I expect these will have no difficulties in holding up through the coming school year and beyond. The only tiny thing I would change is to make the laces longer, as my son’s high instep needs a little more space. These do work for him, but having a bit longer laces for tying would be a plus. If your tween or teen is needing new shoes, these are sure to be a winner - both in style and in practicality!

When first unboxing these shoes I was impressed with the quality of the materials, fabric, and overall feel. These are built to last and will have a good run with our kids who normally wear shoes out very quickly. The design is sleek and while the colors are flashy, it doesn’t feel overly flashy. The colors flow well together and are very eye catching in a good way. My favorite thing about these shoes is they are built well, and have good support for your feet. If I could change anything, it might be the colors. I do think they are nice and sleek, but they are not my absolute favorite colors.
