Buy the original version, the chains don't last long

The shoes themselves are okay, the section of the shoe the rubs on your ankle wore out completely with only 2 weeks of wear. The reason I purchased this style was because of the decorative chains, but unfortunately this element is the biggest disappointment. One chain came off after 3 wears, luckily I found it and reattached but it just kept coming off. Then one by one, the charms started falling off. A few weeks later the second chain came off. While they look really nice, their is no functionality and they are poorly constructed and designed as they don't last at all. Now I just wear them without the chains, so it is not worth paying extra for this design detail because it doesn't last.
