Amplified touch
The upper is made from NikeSkin with embedded chevrons, which helps provide ball control and truly gives you a feeling of barefoot football.
Fast traction
The wave-like traction pattern is a series of cascading studs, so it engages more surface area of the Air Zoom unit while also providing the appropriate amount of grip. The biggest stud is the same height as our traditional middle studs, so traction is not compromised. We paired the wave-like traction with evolved chevron and blade studs to help you stop when making quick cuts.
Snug fit
We've upgraded the stretch mesh from the previous generation to an adaptable knit that offers flexibility, provides support and brings you closer to the ball. A Dynamic Fit collar wraps your ankle in soft, stretchy fabric for a secure feel.

How This Was Made

Same Shoes, Same Size, Totally Different Fit

I ordered the black variant of these shoes in size 45.5, because I already had the same ones at home (bought them last year). So I expected them to fit the same. However, after receiving the package and trying them on, the size 45.5 was way too tight and totally not the same as my old ones in the same size. I decided to return them and order the same in size 46. Weirdly enough, these ones feel too big. I expected them to be just a bit bigger than the 45.5, but they feel much wider and not comfortable. I decided to just try them on the pitch, so I guess I can't return them now. Sad, because usually the Mercurial Superfly shoes are perfect for me, but the sizing on these just isn't right. At the time of writing, the black variant of this shoe is no longer available. I also see that there’s now a discount that wasn’t there before, such a shame.
