Love my new Romaleos!

Just received my new Romaleos and they are all that I had hoped they would be! I'd used some Romaleo 2's years ago for squats/squat cleans and I couldn't believe how beneficial they were at the time. The only thing I didn't like about the R2's was that the strap over the front was too long and used to flail about. After wearing my new R4's this is no longer an issue. I did order a half size bigger and I'm glad I did. They fit like a glove. There are a little tight width wise but I'm happy enough and am picking that they will stretch slightly with more wear. After my first session they are already feeling better - or maybe I'm just getting used to them. They look super slick in black and white and I can't wait to have a another sesh in them. I was using my Metcon 3's for squats until these arrived, and squats feel sooooo much better in the R4's. Love them!

The ultimate weight lifting shor

roxiebecker - 28 Jul 2021

The Romaleos are the ultimate weight lifting shoe. I’ve previously tried the Savaleos as well, but the Romaleos were a lot sturdier, more solid, and seem more durable. While you may be able to do CrossFit wods in the Savaleos, the Romaleos I’d say are only suitable for weight lifting due to their rigidity. The inner arch takes some getting used to, but it’s not uncomfortable. Both the Romaleos and Savaleos run a bit small so I had to size up by half a size and would definitely recommend doing the same. Overall a fantastic shoe which has definitely improved the quality of my olympic lifts. 10/10 recommend!
