I primarily wore this shoe while working; I work in a hospital. Upon trying the shoes on, I could tell the shoe was lightweight and could easily broken in. The mesh upper and synthetic overlays reminded me of early 2000s runners.
As I wore the shoes at work, I noticed how neutral and stable the shoe felt despite being a little high off the ground. Air max shoes tend to feel high off the ground because of the size of the air bag. The stability probably comes from the cushlon that’s paired with the air max unit in the heel.
My main critique of the shoe is mainly the fit. My heel popped out of the shoe on several occasions as the shoe got more broken into and I would have to adjust my laces. This is probably due to softness and flexibility of the mesh and synthetic materials.
Overall, it’s a well balanced neutral shoe that can be used as a daily walking shoe, or doing light weightlifting in the gym. Its design language calls back the early 2000s and its multiple layers give the shoes depth and character from a visual standpoint.
