The A'Two A'ja Wilson Basketball Shoes is a very good shoe. It's extremely lightweight and maneuverable with great traction and stability. The shoe does run a little slim so people with wide feet might want to consider going up half a size; I have slimmer feet so this isn't a concern for me. The lockdown with the laces all the way tied up feels secure and I am easily able to transition my weight and movements in it. I think the shoe could be a tad more breathable but I'm not that much of a sweater so, again, not as big of a concern for me.
Stylistically, I think the shoe pushes the envelope more so than other Nike shoes (e.g., Luka, Zion, etc.). I'm not the biggest fan of the rear heal plate with Aja's name and very reflective surface on it but I also understand it's there for stability and on trend for the shoe. I would maybe prefer a more matted reflective plate but I'm not quite sure that's also the right design choice; all in all, this is a minor complaint vs. the overall great design of the shoe. This is my least favorite part of the shoe.
With that said, my favorite part is how lightweight it is. When you first look at this shoe, there's no way you think it's this light, but it is. It almost feels "cheap" but once you put it on, you realize it's not...it's just light.
I'm currently very happy and am curious to see how this shoe holds up over time.
