Nike Swim Hydroguard Essential

I decided to wear this shirt for two main reasons this week. One was because we’re still “coming into summer” here in Texas so the water is still somewhat cool. The second reason is to test how well it prevents sunburn! The shirt is comfortable, fits well and doesn’t make me feel hotter on a warmer 80-90 degree day. My kids wanted to ride the water slide in our pool so my first dip in the water was quick and cool! The shirt will conform to you in the water so consider that, but upon exiting the shirt releases the water well and dries fast! I would sit down in a chair while the kids used the slide and dry out and it wouldn’t take long. I even skipped sunblock on my shoulders and back to see how well it prevents sunburn. After roughly 2 hours I noticed zero burning/redness on my back which is a life saver in these hotter months.

This shirt worked really well as an alternative to wearing sunscreen in places where wildlife could be impacted. I was worried about overheating but that wasn’t an issue!

I’ve been wearing this shirt for over a week now while working out, and I highly recommend them to everyone. They fit perfectly, Surprisingly, my sweat doesn’t bother the shirt at all. The design ensures excellent breathability, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. I sometimes forget I’m even wearing them. Additionally, their exceptional flexibility allows for a full range of motion, which is crucial. In my opinion, the shirt is worth every penny, and will be getting more.
