Nike Free Run 5.0

I bought these for my Son's Bday. Both of us workout and walk on the treadmill and he walks the dog about 2 miles daily. I am a Nike Lover since the 70's and he has always worn and loved Nikes as well. For the first time ever, the shoes purchased did not last. While he liked the style and comfort- they wore out in just over 2 months. There are holes in the bottom of each shoe. There has been no extra wear and tear, just daily use as mentioned. When we received these- they did seem ridiculously light but we never dreamed they'd wear through so quickly. My Son began wearing these the first week of June 2026 - it is now the last week of July.

I was in search for a lightweight running/casual shoe. The design sure hit the mark. However, due to it's light-weight design I would not train in the shoe. You feel everything "under" foot. But... Very enjoyable for casual wear, easy on and off design!!
