I am an adult (5'2", size small, sometimes medium if I want more room) and the XL was too big. I wanted for something oversized but not too long, this came well below my hips. The sleeves also covered my hands. The L might work better but I think it might still be not quite the cut. I did like the fabric and the color of the tan.

Loved this jacket the color is great and the ribbed fabric looks so nice even has inside pockets on both sides. They don’t have a similar jacket in woman sizing so I decided to give the kids sizing a shot since I can usually fit into kids XL, I am a women xs or small. Was worried the XL would be small but now that I have it could have definitely gotten a L but decided to keep this one since was a nice oversized look but the sleeves are what baffled me and make me think these just run large even for kids because the sleeves are so long especially for kids sizing as an adult ordering from kids section typically the issue is the sleeves will run shorter to a kids frame but these are super long. I ended up just folding the sleeve in one whole puff to shorten. Even had my sister try it on who is a true medium in women’s and while the torso part of the jacket fit her better the sleeves were still awkwardly long so something to keep in mind.

We love the way this coat looks in person. The colors in the pictures are exact. We loved the first one so much I bought all 3 colors for my kids to have variety ! Not only does the coat look stylish but it does the job on keeping the kids warm! I wish they came in adult sizes!
