Kids' & Junior Air Max 90 Trainers & Shoes

Nike Air Max 90 junior trainers made for movement

Nike Air Max 90 kids' trainers bring a legendary look to kids’ everyday movement. Built for play, school days and weekend plans, they combine a classic low-cut shape with cushioning that feels soft underfoot. The design stays true to the original Air Max 90 silhouette, with bold overlays, a supportive fit and a visible Max Air unit that helps soften every step. From older kids to younger kids and little ones finding their stride, the range is made to keep up.

Cushioned comfort for active days

Kids move fast. Their shoes need to move with them. Max Air units help absorb impact through the heel, while flexible foam cushioning adds a smooth, easy feel from morning to night. Flex grooves in the outsole support natural movement, so feet can bend more freely during play. Selected styles feature a roomier toe area that gives extra wiggle space without feeling loose. The result is a trainer that feels cushioned, flexible and ready for repeat wear.

Durable grip for playgrounds and pavements

Whether they're running between lessons, heading to the park or staying active after school, kids need traction they can trust. The waffle outsole takes inspiration from Nike running heritage and helps deliver durable grip on everyday surfaces. Tough overlays support high-wear areas, while woven mesh and leather on selected pairs help balance breathability with structure. The low-cut collar keeps the feel easy around the ankle, giving kids freedom to move, turn and explore.

Easy fits for younger feet

The junior Nike Air Max 90 range includes options for different ages and routines. Classic lace-up styles give older kids a secure, familiar fit. For younger kids, Nike EasyOn features help speed things up. Elastic laces, hook-and-loop straps and easy-entry openings make it simpler to get shoes on and off, while still keeping the look close to a classic lace-up. That means less fuss before the school run, training session or family day out.

Heritage style for everyday wear

Air Max 90 trainers have been part of sneaker culture for decades, but this kids’ collection is built for now. They work with sports kit, school-friendly outfits and casual weekend layers. The cushioned feel supports everyday walking and light activity, while the structured upper helps the shoes hold their shape through regular wear. Selected styles are also made with at least 20% recycled content by weight, supporting Nike’s Move to Zero journey. Choose junior and kids' Air Max 90 shoes for a mix of comfort, durability and heritage style that fits active lives.
