Nike Ava Edge

I had really high hopes for this shoe but had a hard time liking it. The shoe looks like it was spray painted with silver paint, which was hard to really appreciate for me. It fits but the toe box is snug and the heel slips. I thought maybe I got the wrong size (10 in AF1s and 10.5 in most other shoes) but I think if I went down a size or half a size then my toes would be squished. The footbed feels comfortable but it doesn’t make up to the weird toe box and heel situation making it feel too big and too small at the same time.

This was my first time wearing this model sneaker from Nike. I have to say I am very happy with the comfort of the shoe. I’ve worn them to the gym for the last couple of weeks and find them to be versatile. I wear them during cardio as well as while weightlifting. I would definitely purchase more pairs in different color-ways in the future

The upper is breathable while still providing good structure, and the overall construction feels solid. I haven’t noticed any issues with stitching or comfort after multiple wears. What I like most is how the shoe combines everyday comfort with a stylish design. If I could change one thing, I’d like to see a few more color options and slightly more cushioning in the forefoot for longer walks. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Nike Ava Edge to anyone looking for a comfortable, great-looking lifestyle sneaker.
