Fit and Feel: The label says that these shorts are loose fitting. Indeed these shorts not only fit loose but were too big in the waist for my 6 year old and also wayyy too long. The elastic is very tight
The shoes fit well and are very cute. What I don't like is that the elastic is very hard and tight. To put them on my son, I have to put on very thin socks so that the top of his foot doesn't squeeze and so that his foot can fit better into the shoe.

A Classic for a reason
Cortez's are a classic and I was happy to introduce my 5 year old to a timeless silhouette. The quality and fit are great and the color goes with everything, it's a soft leather that looks durable but comfortable, my favorite feature is that they look like they are tieable but are in fact velcro. My only complaint is that his heel slipped out at first but a thicker sock put an end to that. All in all these are great and I definitely recommend them.
