All-game comfort

The plush foam on the collar and tongue enhances the feeling of comfort around the ankle and over the top of the foot – areas where you want no distractions. It helps strike a sound balance between ground control when changing sudden direction and comfort when racing from one end of the floor to the other. The breathable mesh upper helps keep you contained.

Cushion for the Push

The sculpted foam midsole feels soft and supportive, providing cushioning for the game's non-stop movement.

Stick and Move

Herringbone traction provides multi-directional grip, great for players who rely on their quickness and cutting ability. The rubber wraps up the sides in the forefoot to give you traction on your edges.

  • Precision 8 MID

Nike’s precision 8 sneaker is absolutely comfortable. They have a wide forefoot which allows you to wear for an extended period of time. They handle very well on the court and are extremely breathable. I’ve worn plenty of basketball sneakers that after 30 minutes your pinky feels like it’s going to fall off but not with this shoe. Overall I was very impressed with the shoe.

  • Has Potential

In fairness, I did not wear these shoes to play basketball in. To me they run a little bit small though I'm not sure a size up would have made them more comfortable. I found the arches to be uncomfortable, though others may like the feel, but i couldn't wear them for long periods of time because of that. They are light and the material is breathable. The toe box wasn't tight. I would wear them as a regular shoe outside of the court.

  • Great Stability and Support, but Could Be More Breathable

    bigabb97

I was impressed with the overall fit, comfort, and stability of the Nike Precision 8 MID basketball shoes. They fit true to size and offered good cushioning, arch support, and ankle support. What stood out most was how secure my feet felt while playing basketball. Even when pivoting and changing direction on the court, I never felt like my feet were slipping or moving around inside the shoes. They provided a stable, supportive feel that gave me confidence during activity. I wore these shoes while playing basketball as well as walking to and from the court, and they performed well for both. The cushioning made them comfortable to wear, and the shoes felt supportive throughout. They’re not particularly lightweight, but they also didn’t feel overly heavy during use. The design is nice and fairly straightforward. There’s nothing especially exciting about the appearance, but the shoes are well designed and have a solid, practical look. The materials feel durable and well constructed, and the overall quality seems good for a basketball shoe. My favorite feature is definitely the stability and support, especially around the ankles. If I could change one thing, I would improve the breathability. The shoes didn’t allow for as much airflow as I would have liked, particularly during physical activity. Otherwise, I think Nike did a great job creating a comfortable, supportive basketball shoe that performs well on the court.
