Nike Air Force 1 '07 LV8

Picked up the Air Force 1 '07 LV8 in the black/black with white swoosh and these have immediately become my most-reached-for shoe. The colorway does everything right — blacked-out upper keeps it clean and versatile, and the white swoosh gives it just enough contrast to make the silhouette pop without screaming for attention. Fit is true to size, leather feels substantial right out of the box, and the sole is grippy without being clunky. These pair well with everything from joggers to dark denim — dressed down or dressed up, they hold their own. I'm 40 and not interested in chasing trends — I'm interested in quality footwear that looks sharp and stays comfortable through a full day. The AF1 has been the same shoe for 40+ years for a reason. This colorway in particular hits that sweet spot between understated and intentional. No gimmicks, no loud branding, just a well-built shoe with timeless lines. Comfort out of the box is good; they break in even better. No complaints after regular wear. Buy them. You won't rotate them out.

What can go wrong with the classic Air Force 1? Not much in my opinion. The black colorway is with the grey features is really nice on this pair. They fit similarly like other AF1’s only the right shoe is tight on my right ankle based on where it falls leading to a star rating deduction but still not enough for me not to wear them. The materials feel premium on this pair and the extra swoosh placements are really a style point. In the simple inner design is a neat touch. I can throw these on with just about any outfit. If you want a classic shoe with a little stylish update, this is a great pair!

The shoes have style and are made of quality materials; however, they can be a bit stiff when you first wear them as you break them in. Additionally, the shoes run a bit larger than typical for size 9 nike shoes which is what I typically wear comfortably, but these shoes left more room in the toe than what I find comfortable. These type of shoes would not typically be my style but I do think that they are great for many occassions whether it be a night out, running errands, or you could even wear them to work since they look nice and are a simple design. While I may typically go for a different stlye, I would recommend these to anyone for which these shoes fit their style, just maybe go a half or full size down for the best fit!
