Nike ACG 'Cosmic Peaks'

Anytime I get my hands on some ACG gear it’s a huge win! Here in Texas our weather is unpredictable, they say if you don’t like the weather just wait an hour. Especially in between seasons! We go from cold, rain, hot and rain/humidity all in a month! So ACG clothing/technology is a game changer for us! I work indoors and outdoors so the wind breaker/rain protection was clutch in April/May. This jacket offers many great aspects including the weather protection without being too “heavy” or “overbearing”. It’s thin, but helped in crisp weather as well. During the more humid days the back of the jacket has “slits” around your mid to lower back side and along the sides (I’m 5ft 10) for reference. This allowed for fresh air to come in and helped prevent heavy sweating or body heat from building. One slight issue is I have an unconscious reaction to put my hands in my jacket pockets when wearing one and this jacket does NOT have pockets for your hands. You DO have a medium/large sized zipper pocket on the right side of the torso. You could easily store your iPhone Pro Max in here, iPod case or a wallet so that helps make up for the lack of hand pockets. This jacket does zip up and includes a button towards mid chest to have a secure feel. The jacket also offers two pull strings/tabs around your hood to really secure it around your head along with three air slits in the hood to allow air in and out. The perfect workout, casual wear and work jacket to break in for a good workout, windy days or when you’re just slightly cool out and don’t feel like wearing a heavier jacket.

Awesome Jacket. The only drawback is the lack of hand pockets. It has a pocket for your phone/keys, but nowhere to keep your hands dry/warm. I love the waterproof zipper and its sleeves were a little long to keep my hands dry in the rain. The vented armpits were awesome and a great fit especially with a few extra layers underneath. The hood was a great size too, fits tight and doesn't blow off in a good gust.

Convenient for an early morning walk, run, and/or hike when it’s a bit chilly out. An especially useful jacket when going out on the boat to fish for the day. It’s really helpful against the cold breeze plus misty water that hits you when the boat is moving. Keeps you warm when you need it, but it isn’t suffocating. Lightweight and easily packable, takes up minimal space in your travel bag. Easily wearable instead of a hoodie and just as stylish. The extra detail lip on the hood keeps your head covered. Nice pockets to keep your phone and important needs secure even if it’s rainy, the jacket material protects your things and because it’s not absorbent it was perfect for those unexpected spring showers during bike rides and runs. Not overly designed and small logo details are nice.
