Nike G.T. Cut 4 After getting some runs in with the GT Cut 4, it’s clear this shoe was designed for players who rely on quick cuts and constant movement on the court. The standout feature here is the cushioning. The full-length ZoomX setup gives the shoe a noticeably responsive feel, providing solid impact protection while still keeping the ride lightweight and bouncy. Every step feels energized, which makes it great for guards or players who are constantly attacking off the dribble. The cushioning absorbs landings well while still keeping you low enough to the court for quick reactions. Traction is another strong point. The multi-directional outsole pattern bites the floor extremely well, especially on indoor courts. It allows you to stop on a dime, explode into cuts, and confidently change direction without hesitation. For players who rely on quick footwork and sharp movements, the grip definitely holds up during game speed play. The fit is secure and comfortable overall. Once laced up, the shoe feels snug through the midfoot with good lockdown, which helps keep you stable during aggressive movements. It is slightly stiff on the first time wearing, but I found the shoe to break in very quickly. The upper materials are lightweight but not the most breathable. During longer runs your feet can warm up a bit, but the trade-off is a solid structure that helps maintain a consistent fit on the court. Overall, the GT Cut is a strong performance basketball shoe with excellent cushioning, reliable traction, and a secure fit. This shoe is absolutely stunning. I let my brother try it on and it said it was comfortable, quality, and couldn’t wait to try it out on the court. The colors really pop with the illuminating design. Pairs well with other outfits. The style is slick and does take a bit to get into the shoe, however once on you are given extreme sport support and plush feeling sole. I recommend it for athletes. Just be mindful on how to get it on.
