Nike Pro Fleece

These Nike dry fit shorts have become my daughters new favorite pair of shorts! Just like the jacket that goes with these shorts, the fabric is very soft and comfortable with a nice soft mesh lining on the inside. We struggle with finding clothes that she likes because she is sensitive to the way fabric feels against her skin. So far, we have had zero complaints from her about the fabric, tags or seams feeling "scratchy", so these are a keeper! The fit of these shorts is a bit baggy because the material is pleated or gathered where they are sewn to the elastic waistband. I would say this is my least favorite thing about these shorts so far. The shorts look big and baggy on her. We are used to a more fitted look but my daughter still loves them and finds them very comfortable. Another complaint I have about these shorts is that the pockets are very narrow and you cannot fit a cell phone in them. This could pose a problem if you are not wearing the jacket that is part of the set. The pockets are big enough for a small set of keys, but that is all. The elastic has the words "Nike Pro" printed on the waistband, giving them a very stylish look. The backside of the waistband is very soft and feels comfortable against the skin. My daughter has gone bike riding, walking/running and rollerblading in these and has mentioned on several occasions, that these are her new favorite pair of shorts. When you use good quality fabric, this is the result you get. A VERY happy kid!

The Nike Dri-Fit shorts in size S, fit my daughter (7yo, 4'1", 52lb) really well! The length was great, and the waistband wasn't too snug but didn't slip. She and I both really liked the design and fit with the higher waistband allowing for good athletic moment. The fabric seems very sturdy for outdoor fall activities and will wash well. It would be great to see them in additional vibrant colors.

My kiddo worse these shorts for a full day of active play, access had very few complaints. The material is nice, and feels cool and comfortable. The design is simple, and nice, and will go with any top- it looks great as a set with the Nike dri-FIT hoodie! The issues were that the legs are really loose, and on my kid's little legs, it made the shorts look a little awkward and puffy. But that didn't impede any running, jumping or playing! It looked like the edge of the waistband rubbed the skin a bit after wearing for a couple hours, but rolling the waistband down helped alleviate that! All in all, are they the best shorts I've ever had? No. Would I buy them again? Probably not. But, they're still pretty nice!
