I’ve been wearing the Nike Basketball Get Hustle shoes for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed. The fit is snug but not restrictive, giving me great ankle support without feeling heavy. They’re comfortable right out of the box—no awkward break-in period—and the cushioning really absorbs impact during quick stops and jumps. I’d size up half a size from your normal size. The design is sleek and modern with a nice balance between performance style and streetwear appeal. The mesh upper is breathable, which keeps my feet cooler during intense games, and it’s reinforced in all the right places for durability. The sole has solid grip, even on slightly dusty courts. The lightweight feel combined with great traction is the standout for me—it makes quick cuts and direction changes feel effortless. If I could tweak one thing, I’d add a bit more padding around the tongue area for extra comfort during longer practices. Overall, these are great court shoes and my go-to for now.

#productsprovidedbynikeVersatile, lightweight and responsive, but runs small
JDBball - 15 Aug 2025
After a couple weeks with the Nike G.T. Hustle Academy Basketball Shoes, I can confidently say these are solid performers for the price, though they come with a few caveats that potential buyers should know about. First the great – I love the aesthetics. The design is clean, modern and versatile enough for both the court and casual wear. I also really appreciate how lightweight and breathable they are. These shoes don’t weigh you down on the court and my feet stayed relatively cool after a couple hours of playing compared to my other basketball shoes. Lastly, the foot traction has held up well. I’ve had no issues making quick cuts or jumps. As for what I’d change, the biggest drawback for me is the sizing. As someone who consistently wears a size 13, I initially had major crunching in the toe area and the first few wears were genuinely uncomfortable. However, the material does have some give and after about two days of wearing them around the house, they stretched out considerably and became much more comfortable. My advice: go up half a size if possible. At the same time, if you have wide feet, these might not be the best option for you even with sizing up. The shoes have a narrower toe profile than what I’m accustomed to and don’t seem to accommodate wider toes as well. In the end, would I buy again? Probably, but I'd definitely size up. Would I recommend to others? Yes, but with strong caveats about sizing and width compatibility.

#productsprovidedbynikeNice shoe, great traction, but look cheap
Nbert921 - 14 Aug 2025
When I first tried the shoe on, right away I could tell it’s pretty narrow. I have a normal foot that could lean on the wider side, and these are definitely more for a narrow foot. I’m thinking that after more wear, the width will stretch out. I did size up a half size as I normally do in sneakers, and that was appropriate for these as well. It gave me just enough toe space for my foot to move in the shoe during play. The next thing I noticed was these style and appearance. It looks a bit cheap in person. The knit fabric itself just ok. The style of the sole from a side view also looks a bit cheap. The reason it’s getting 4 stars is because the traction and grip on the bottom is awesome! That part of the shoe feels high quality and well engineered. My other pair of basketball shoes are a different brand, and these definitely have much better grip on the court. If you’re looking for function and not so much for style, these are awesome! If your focus is Moreno. Style, I’d keep looking.
