Bouncy Steps

Your foot sits on top of a full-length, drop-in ZoomX 3.0 foam midsole, our lightest and most responsive foam. It gives you bounce with every stride and step.

Unreal Acceleration

Beneath the ZoomX midsole sits full-length Air Zoom Strobel cushioning that can help add an unreal amount of acceleration and court feel to your game. An RBR-X stabiliser fuses a lightweight fabric into the forefoot of the ZoomX drop-in, which functions as a stabiliser to help you cut quicker. Supporting the trio of super power technologies is a Cushlon carrier that offers stability.

Court Feel

The under-the-hood trifecta offers our optimal responsiveness with the kind of court feel that players love both on and off the ball. It's low, light and crazy agile.

Futuristic Upper

The sleek exoskeleton upper sports a futuristic, yet attested aesthetic that's both rooted in Nike Basketball lore and asking to push the limits of the game. The pinky toe side of the upper sports synthetic material while the big toe side is made of a lightweight textile.

Accelerate and Decelerate

A generative traction outsole is specifically designed with acceleration and deceleration in mind when cutting and changing directions.

Lock in

A 3D moulded collar offers optimal heel lockdown.

  • Nike GT Cut 4, a Shoe with Potential

    Tone

Nike G.T. Cut 4 After getting some runs in with the GT Cut 4, it’s clear this shoe was designed for players who rely on quick cuts and constant movement on the court. The standout feature here is the cushioning. The full-length ZoomX setup gives the shoe a noticeably responsive feel, providing solid impact protection while still keeping the ride lightweight and bouncy. Every step feels energized, which makes it great for guards or players who are constantly attacking off the dribble. The cushioning absorbs landings well while still keeping you low enough to the court for quick reactions. Traction is another strong point. The multi-directional outsole pattern bites the floor extremely well, especially on indoor courts. It allows you to stop on a dime, explode into cuts, and confidently change direction without hesitation. For players who rely on quick footwork and sharp movements, the grip definitely holds up during game speed play. The fit is secure and comfortable overall. Once laced up, the shoe feels snug through the midfoot with good lockdown, which helps keep you stable during aggressive movements. It is slightly stiff on the first time wearing, but I found the shoe to break in very quickly. The upper materials are lightweight but not the most breathable. During longer runs your feet can warm up a bit, but the trade-off is a solid structure that helps maintain a consistent fit on the court. Overall, the GT Cut is a strong performance basketball shoe with excellent cushioning, reliable traction, and a secure fit. While the breathability could be better, the on-court performance and responsiveness give it plenty of potential for hoopers looking for speed and control. Rating: 8.5/10

  • Great for guys

    SneakerLadyApproved

This shoe is absolutely stunning. I let my brother try it on and it said it was comfortable, quality, and couldn’t wait to try it out on the court. The colors really pop with the illuminating design. Pairs well with other outfits. The style is slick and does take a bit to get into the shoe, however once on you are given extreme sport support and plush feeling sole. I recommend it for athletes. Just be mindful on how to get it on.

  • Extremely Comfortable and Great Grip

    JML Kicks

From a functional standpoint, these shoes are top tier. They are extremely comfortable and the Zoom Air in the sole provides a lot of cushioning. At first glance, they look like they would be really stiff out of the box, but they were more flexible and comfortable on the first wear than I expected. As far as style, they look like they would be better suited for a black tie function than the basketball court. They will definitely make a statement and stand out, even being all black. The only negative that I noticed is that they are difficult to put on. The insole is really sticky, which helps for comfort and slip, but anything except a fresh dry sock is going to make it difficult to slide your foot in. The "no tongue" design also makes the opening much smaller, so you just have to expect to loosen the laces almost entirely to get them on and off.
