These are a superb easy, daily and long run shoe. Lovely cushioning but still lively and fun to run in

Hands down the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. I was a long time wearer of Nike Vomero's in the past but had to move to Hokka Bondi and Brooks Glycerin because the cushioning became to hard in the Vomero line. Then the Nike Invincible 2 came out and Nike won me back making it my previous favorite. They say the Vomero Plus was taking over the Invincible line and man did they ever. The Vomero Plus blows all of them away including the Invincible, even though I was super skeptical. The cushioning is amazingly soft like I'm running on a cloud, yet the responsiveness and the return energy (bounce) is great for a shoe with this much cushion. They are incredible for recovery runs, but after the military all my runs seem to be recovery runs :). Super happy Nike made these, so please don't change them. Please update the colors though or I'm knocking off a star next time!

Writing this review after 6 weeks and 75 miles. First the good. This is a fantastic training shoe. I've taken these out mostly for long/easy runs between five and 14 miles. The cushioning is superb, I've had no stability issues, and only one hot spot that never occurred again so probably a sock problem. They also cope with picking up the pace, and respond well to tempo/half marathon pace intervals. Fit true to size, with good room in the toe box. And the bad. I've taken a star off as the sole is already showing signs of serious wear on the heel after only 75 miles running on flat pavement/road, so don't have much hope of getting to 250. Which is a real shame, because these have become my go to easy/recovery shoe after eight years of Asics Nimbus. Same again for the Plus 2 next year with a more durable sole, please Nike!
