As a competitive basketball player who's been loyal to the same basketball shoes for years, I didn't expect to find a new favorite-- but these shoes won me over fast. Whether I'm driving to the rim or pivoting on defense, the snug and supportive fit combined with excellent heel padding keeps my foot locked in. They strike the perfect balance between secure and comfortable without feeling restrictive. The low-top profile, combined with the knit material and sharp color palette, creates a modern look that's just as good off the court as it is on. The knit material also keeps the shoes breathable and lightweight, so my feet stay cooler and I never feel weighed down-- even during back-to-back games. What I love most is how the tight fit and light weight material make these incredibly responsive for all the movement basketball demands. Whether I'm launching for a dunk or pulling up for a jumper, these shoes deliver. If I could change one thing, it would be the shoelaces; they could be a little longer to make double-knotting easier, especially for players who like extra security. Without a doubt, I definitely will be purchasing these shoes again. They're sleek, breathable, and everything I want in a basketball shoe.

The Nike G.T. Hustle Academy shoes have a comfortable fit and have good support for your feet. The smoky gray color looks great and can match with any outfit. I really liked the sleek design of the bottom half of the shoe. The material on the sides of the shoe seem durable and the swoosh logo on each side is large and can be seen easily. I like the monochromatic look with the all gray shoe laces, all gray shoe and all gray sole. They are easy to put on and I like the support and extra cushion around the ankle for when I’m running and jumping on the basketball court. The rubber on the toe of the shoe is also a nice feature when running and stopping quickly. When wearing the shoes, they feel light weight and I am able to run quickly up and down the court. Overall, this is a great quality shoe that not only feels good on your feet when playing basketball, but looks good too.

My husband has worn the G.T. Hustle Academy Basketball Shoes, a few times for experimental use but had some slight implications that could ruin the shoes value of purchase. The shoe initially was a nice compact fit to the soles, allowing the feet to stay locked in the same position for any vigorous activities. Secondly, the design of the shoe is sublime; adding a new modern look to basketball or causal wear. The fabric of the shoe is comfortable initially, until you’ve worn it for a few times, then it becomes tight and slightly harder throughout the day. Its definitely a decent wear to those that want to impress and play hard, but the shoe has to be a true fit to the consumer. My husband’s feet couldn’t really fit the shoe, even though it was a size 11.5. It’s a dope shoe for sure, but I wish I got a size up just to really experience the design and feel more.
