These were comfortable right out of the box. I wore these for 10 days walking many miles on a European trip. They were so comfortable and the only shoes I wore. Stable ankle , nice wide toe box, soft & supportive. I wore a breathable sock that was no show with a heel tab & I got zero blisters or rubbing. They held up perfectly. I sized up a half size for more toe space. Would recommend these 100%

Excellent, but make sure you buy the exact size - I'm 8.5 (there was only size 9) and it doesn't quite grip my toes as an 8.5 would. It fits perfect to your size. As everything nowadays, things are expensive.
