Nike Phantom 6 Low Elite

First things first the color way and design of this boot is beautiful. I received a ton of compliments about them at the training ground. They really make you stand out on the field. The comfortability of these boots is amazing! I typically wear the Nike mercurials which can be a bit snug across the middle of the foot. However these offered a better fit in that area. The only area that I felt could be improved would be the toe of the boot. It felt as though it was more difficult to get under the ball while shooting and other things. They are a little more rounded instead of coming to more of a point which could be the issue. This is an elite soccer cleat and I have told numerous people about them. They are a thousand percent a high level boot. I am a professional soccer player and I would wear these every single time.

The Phantom 6 Low Elite FG is such a great overall boot. I like to think of them as the perfect hybrid option. They are light and responsive, while still being comfortable and durable. My absolute favorite part of the boot would be the upper material. The Gripknit material allows for max ball control, while also providing a natural/snug fit. Because the material has the right amount of stretch, it molds to your foot while allowing the necessary stretch needed when making hard movements. Secondly, the sole plate is another huge point to highlight. Because of the 360 traction plate, I feel very comfortable and confident in my cuts/change of speed regardless of being on turf or grass. Playing on both surfaces quite a bit, this sole plate can handle both very well. I highly recommend this boot to any player, regardless of their position.

To start off, this is an extremely cool looking pair of cleats. The texturing up front forms a sort of faux strike zone that is reminiscent of old favorites such as the T90s or Phantom Venoms. Meanwhile, the Swoosh at the heel has some interesting spiky geometry going on within it, adding just the right amount of surface variation to an otherwise fairly plain shoe. This particular colorway is also mostly great. The classic combination of black and orange not only looks good but also evokes the memory of another classic in the launch colorway of the original Hypervenoms. This is why I cannot understand the addition of the third color in the heel. It is a very strange blue/lilac color that I cannot help but feel disrupts an otherwise timeless color combination. In my opinion, it contrasts with the orange very awkwardly and this particular pair would have looked much better with a simple black heel. Colorway aside, the Phantom 6 Elite is a great pair of cleats to play in. The Gripknit upper is soft and conforms well to the shape of your foot. It also grips the ball well, making for a positive feeling of control and curve when striking. I’ve been playing on fairly dry ground and the soleplate has performed adequately with no issues to speak of. The only thing with these is that they are ever so slightly long, which has not been an issue for me personally, but if you prefer a closer fit from your pair you may want to try going down half a size.
