Curled and (I think) they shrunk

I bought these in January, took them on vacation in both March & May. They seemed great. BUT, on the 4th of July, I went to a pool party. It was 100 degrees and my sandals sat in the sun on the pool deck for 5 hours. When I went to put them on, they had curled so the toe and heel is now 1.5 inches above middle of the sandal. I tried to reheat them in the sun and bend them back but they have reverted to the curled state. I also think they have shrunk in length as my heel and toes now hit the end of the sandal. My wife now says they look too small. Don't let them bake in the sun too long!
