Nike Air Max Phoenix

My kid was very excited to try these shoes on when I took them from the box. They made him super fast and have quickly become a shoe staple. After the first day of use, he complained about his feet hurting but have still selected these shoes frequently with no more complaint. They are nice quality and the dark color hides dirt well. I love they they are no tie and have a nice appearance. Kiddo still brags about how fast they make him and they have held up wear after a few weeks worth of use. I was tentative after the first day of wear but they are a frequently worn shoe for him.

I recieved a pair of these shoes for my son. He was so excited to recieve the pair of shoes, he thought they looked really cool. He finds them to be very comfortable and they are supportive of his feet. I think the design is generally good. Occasionally something gets caught in the hollow, horseshoe shaped section of the heal, but it has to be a large thing. My son is 5, so he sees it as a feature more than a problem and finds it hilarious because it mostly happens when he stomps on walnuts that have fallen from our tree, but it might be an actual problem on rougher terrain with things like dirt clots. I like the amount of shock absorption the heal has since he spends si much of his day running around. The actual height of the heel does make him lean forward slightly and while it is a good height for adult sneakers it is a bit high when scaled down to kids sized shoes. Unfortunately that seems to be an issue across bramds for kids' sneakers, however, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a deterant unless comparing to shoes designed specifically for younger kids.

My son is crazy about his new Air Max Phoenix shoes! The fabric is incredibly durable and perfect for a 4 year old who spends his days running, jumping and climbing. They have an intense tread with lots of traction that has surely saved us from multiple falls. On top of the amazing functionality, I love the colors and how subtle the Nike emblem is on the side. However, our favorite part is how easily they slide on and off. He doesn’t need my help and yet, we get the look of tied up laces. 10 out of 10 recommend!
