Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 Elite

When I opened the box for the Nike Vapor 17 Elite cleats, I was impressed by the style and sleekness of these cleats. When I took the shoe out of the box, I noticed right away how narrow they run. They are incredibly narrow. Initially, they’re so hard to get on, even when loosening all the laces. But once on, they do feel great. The composition of this boot does seem superior to other cleats I’ve owned. The cleat spikes are solid. I also love that the bottom of the insoles are vented to help with heat..great feature. I know as I wear them, they will stretch a bit in the width and make them more comfortable and easier to get on. But DEFINITELY size up! I’m normally a size 7.5-8 and the size 9 fits me in the Nike Vapor Elite cleats. I think that’s fairly typical for Nike shoes, and these are no exception.

The cleats fit true to size and feel comfortable once broken in. They provide a snug, secure fit that offers good support and stability during gameplay. However, they can feel a bit tight during the first few days, especially for players with wider feet. I would make them slightly wider to improve comfort without sacrificing support or performance on the field. One of my favorite things about these cleats is their simple, clean design. I love the classic look and minimal use of colors and details. They look stylish without being too flashy, making them easy to pair with different team uniforms. The quality of the materials is also impressive. The cleats feel durable and well-made, with a good balance of comfort, flexibility, and support. Overall, they seem built to handle the demands of regular gameplay while providing a reliable fit. Overall, I really like these cleats for their design, quality, and on-field performance. Aside from the snug fit during the break-in period, they meet my expectations and offer a great combination of style and functionality.

Talk about the best boots in the game! These nike boots are so incredibly light and the materials on the upper fit like a glove. It's almost as if you are wearing a sock. The plate on the outsole provides plenty of support and the ankle collar grips your ankle just enough so that you aren't slipping side to side but isn't too tight. Many boot collars are either too loose or too tight... these really are the perfect goldilocks boots. Plenty of support for all the cutting and shifting, and incredible grip on AtomKnit upper. It's so sticky for perfect ball control and handling. The lacing system is perfect and the length of the laces are just right. I really despise when the laces are too long adding weight and unnecessary bulk to the boot and then vice versa, I despise when the laces are too short and you constantly have to retie your boots mid-game. I have not played on these in the rain yet but I have to imagine all the positives remain no matter the conditions. So far they are holding up great and I have no notes for Nike to improve these. Excellent boots all around! 5/5!
