Nike Tech

These AOP (all over print) shorts are different. They are a blend of quick drying swim shorts and slightly more elastic fabric. The most notable thing on them is obviously the print. Almost appears to be some sort of modern digital camo. It features a huge zipper pocket. It actually doubles as 2 pockets. At first it was strange but could be useful at the gym for larger items. They flex well and breathe well. Only issue I have with them is they appear in a fixed blocky position. To further explain, they look boxy and don’t conform to the rest of your body in certain positions but that’s only if you’re really, really paying attention. Happy with the shorts. Take them to the gym, runs and the field.

These shorts are great! From the summertime "weight" to the quality of the material to the signature Nike Tech detailing. I love how thin these shorts are for this extreme summer heat. They're thin without being being too flowy (meaning they keep shape). The pattern and colorway are beyond versatile. I can wear them with any color honestly. The pattern gives them a bit of personality which is appreciated. The signature Nike Tech detailing might be my favorite addition. You can spot that they're Nike Tech from a distance. Nike Tech has an elevated style. The shorts stop above my knee. I am 5'5.5". The waist band does not squeeze me. I have a size M and wear a 32 waist.

Overall, these shorts were really interesting. On one hand, they were pretty comfortable, and I think they look rather distinctive and stand out without being gaudy. On the other hand, they are a bit overdesigned for what seems like the sake of style. The tightening mechanism included with the waist straps is an interesting and cool way to ensure the shorts stay at your desired tightness, but also feels a little bit superfluous given the casual setting you'll inevitably be wearing these in. Additionally, the zipper pocket on the right side of the shorts is super useful, but I don't understand why the left pocket doesn't have one as well.
