ACG Dolomiti

I'll be honest, I knew I liked this jacket but wasn't initially sure how I would wear or style it. It's got a really good rugged look and is clearly a good jacket for layering during hiking--lots of pockets, functionality to cinch the bottom to make it tighter, and the type of fabric that you know can take anything. But what I discovered is that I ended up liking it a lot for everyday going out as well. It's the perfect level of warmth for fall temps and it feels and looks great. It's on the baggier side (especially width wise) but you can unzip or zip to adjust for the vibe you're going for. I'm a big fan--this is exactly the thing I'll take on a trip because I can use it 10 different ways and it'll work and look good for all of them.

The ACG Dolomiti corduroy jacket is sturdy with a thick enough build that would be a great look for fall. The jacket does a great job blocking out the cool air in the mornings, and not hot enough to have to take off in the afternoon. The fit is a little loose at the waist and it’s very comfortable when active. I like that the cuffs have a snap adjustment that helps keep the sleeves in place. The pockets are nicely wide and deep and have a snap to keep the closed. I think if the opening of the pockets were to the side versus high up would be better. The best part of this jacket is the look and the feel. On top of all that it does with different weather, it looks really good and goes very well with casual wear. Especially the corduroy texture is subtle and clean looking. It’s not too heavy and the inside liner stays cool. It’s a very comfortable addition to my wardrobe.

I bought the Nike ACG Dolomiti Corduroy Jacket in black because I was trying to update my style and add a few pieces that felt a little more unique than what I normally wear. The jacket immediately caught my eye because it has a great mix of a classic corduroy look with the more modern ACG design. The biggest surprise was the fit. I ordered a Small, but it was still pretty big on me. The jacket has a very loose, relaxed feel, so if you prefer a more fitted look, I would recommend sizing down if possible. That said, the material itself feels really comfortable and has a nice structured feel without being stiff or heavy. The design is probably my favorite part. The black color gives it a clean, versatile look, while the corduroy texture adds enough character to make it stand out. I also really like the two-way zipper, adjustable hem, and the subtle ACG details. It feels like a jacket you can wear casually around town but still has some of the functionality you would expect from ACG. The water-repellent finish is also a nice touch for dealing with light rain. In terms of performance, it has been a great everyday jacket. It is comfortable, easy to layer, and gives me a little protection when the weather changes without feeling like I'm wearing a technical outdoor jacket. The black color also makes it easy to pair with jeans, sneakers, or more casual outfits. What I like most is that it feels different from a typical jacket. I was looking for something that could help update my style, and this definitely does that. If I could change one thing, it would be the sizing. I would prefer a slightly more tailored fit, especially in a Small. Overall, though, I really like the look, feel, and versatility of the jacket.
